Because the inkwash was ruining my inks I decided to try a different method that involves a lot more scanning and Photoshop I learned about. Mine lacks texture (which can be fixed with more experimentation I'm sure).

I wasn't too happy with this page because I had to edit too much (to the point where I even had to ink digitally a bit ughgh). I spilled some inkwash on a panel, the paper warped, inks faded, word balloon placement is meh, etc.

In lieu of actually doing a comic I drew something to get my new sketchbook started. Forgot to change the settings with my scanner so the shading isn't showing up. I'm not too happy about the composition to be honest

And if anybody knows the best way to scan images and edit black/whites without affecting color, tell me please.

Understanding Cat Whiskers

A comic to kick off the new year! The first in my resolution to create more comics. A biological study to begin.

My first attempt at coloring (and using Manga Studio too I guess). Finally putting my Macbook to use. Created in Manga Studio, colors with Photoshop.

Also Whiskers is a lame name for a cat.
