The Apple Pie Cover (Moebius homage)

There's a meme among the Moebius fan community in which artists "cover" the third page of Moebius' "The Apple Pie". It started after Paul Pope (one of my favs) did his version of that panel. This is my cover of that same panel, which I submitted to the Moebius fan appreciation blog.

Moebius is pretty fantastic living legend and it's a shame more people don't know about him. In fact I only learned about him a few months ago and have fallen in love since. Heck, I even bought his French exhibition book for a large sum of money (not as much on that website luckily, though I did buy it from Stuart Ng's store in person).

Pet Snail

I'm not too fond of the composition, but I think I got pretty close with the colors I was looking for. Mixed media on water color paper.
