Picture Journal: September 21, 2012 (End of the Summer Daze)

Click for big.

Summer for me was actually a bit longer than just this summer (though I only included sequences from this year) and I think it's finally time to say g'bye. But what a great summer it was. The best in years I think. Good times, bad times, the whole thing. No regrets. Probably one I'm forgetting. Thanks to everyone involved--friends, family, coworkers, strangers, whatevs.

The colors don't have any sort of deep meaning, they were just inspired by this Post-It note comic I made:

I'm going to make some more comics.

Picture Journal: September 8, 2012 (Summer Shorts #1)

How easily sidetracked we are~ The first in a maybe two or more part series of shorts. This actually has  a few duality and oxymoronic jokes cuz that's how I roll

Picture Journal: September 6, 2012 (Salton Sea)

It was also pretty damn hot! Turns out after 102 degrees Fahrenheit all heat is the same. My only regret is that we probably missed out on some religious experience. Some of the text is a nod to the people who went on this desert trip with me.

This also happens to be my hundredth blog post! Though I think some shouldn't count.

Picture Journal: August 14, 2012 (SCCC '12 recap)

I'll admit this is a little sloppy. Not practicing comic-making has led to a decline in. Learn from my example!

30 Day Drawing Challenge: Day Thirty - Something you'd like to share with your friends

Okay I actually stole that final line from one of my favorite comics. Anyway, thanks for following along I think y'all are swell. Technically I missed three days (because of Comic-Con) but you know what they say about San Diego. Also feel free to click on the label below to browse some of the other things I did for this challenge.

A note for comickers: In the first panel I let the word balloon go off the page which is a big no-no (off the panel is okay tho). LEARN FROM MY EXAMPLE
